Big Easy in Little Elm

The Big Easy is BACK in Little Elm for its 11th year on March 1, 2025, from 5:00pm - 9:00pm! 
Join us for your Cajun favorites including:

• A Mardi Gras-themed 5K
• Crawfish boil
• Live music by Le Freak Band
• Fun contests and programming
• Food trucks and vendors
• Art displays and shopping

Participate in our themed games and contests including the King Cake Eating!

Sign up for our 5K and fun walk!

• The run/walk is open to all ages
• Each participant will receive a t-shirt and the first 1000 registered will get a finishers medal
• Awards will be given for the best dressed female, male, and krewe (a krewe is five to 10 people)

Crawfish

• Crawfish platters will come with potatoes, butter, corn, and seasoning
• Crawfish platters will be $15

Parking

• Participants who who pick up their race day packet in advance, will get free parking

Participants must show bib for free onsite parking so early packet pick up is encouraged.

The breakdown of age groups will start with 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29 and continue in 5 year increments, up to 80+  

All awards are based on chip time.  
AWARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED OUT AFTER THE EVENT.

Weather

Race is rain or shine!

For safety reasons, we reserve the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.

In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the organizer and local authorities.  

We always strive to produce a full and safe multi sport event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. Considerable amount goes into planning a multisport event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions. Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.
