Description
Spinistry is excited to be going to Central Texas again and we have found some great routes to choose from! These courses are all primarily gravel roads so road bikes WILL NOT be appropriate. All routes but the 200k will be marked and all registered riders will receive detailed maps/gps files via FREE premium access to Ride With GPS services for this event as well. This is considered a "self supported" ride/race so there are no SAG vehicles. Riders are expected to make their own arrangements if unable to complete the course for any reason.
Chip timing and collectible number plates are included at no extra charge. All registered riders will receive a special, customized memento as well. We're sure you'll love them! Lockhart is considered the BBQ capitol of the world so plan to stay in town afterwards for some great BBQ. We'll provide a central gathering spot and cold beverages to wash it all down.
50K Fun Ride/Fondo will be timed but no awards for placement. Random drawings for prizes supplied by sponsors.
100K Race/Ride - Awards Top 3 Overall, Top 3 Female, Top 55+ Male, Top 45+ Female, Top SS, Top MTB/Flat Bar
200K Race/Ride - Awards Top 3 Overall plus Top Female. Please note that the 200K route will require self navigation and self support for all sections outside of the 100K loop.
Water stops will be provided approximately every 35 miles on course (specifics on event week) but outside of that this is considered a self supported event. There are no sag vehicles. Riders are expected to find their own way back to staging if they run into mechanical issues. The course will be marked but GPS backup is EXTREMELY recommended and we are providing access to Ride With GPS services for people who do not have navigation units.
Team Spinistry members receive 25% discount on regular registration fees.
