Lockhart Kiwanis 5K Stampede or 1K Fun Run/Walk

14th Annual Lockhart Kiwanis 5K Stampede, HAS GONE VIRTUAL.  LOG YOUR RUN TIME BETWEEN APRIL 9-12. 

Since the recommendations are that you keep 6 feet from another person, you might choose to run by yourself. Or you might run a comfortable distance from your favorite running partner. That's up to you. We'll have a window of days for you to do your run April 9-12. Then you record your time. If you use a running application with GPS, record it!

You can run the beautiful historical scenery of Lockhart and mainly flat running course that we've already certified, or run your favorite route. You can even do your run on a treadmill if you like. Your course just needs to be a 1K or 5K depending on if you registered for the Fun Run or the 5K Stampeded.  If you're worried about the course being exact, don't worry about it. Remember, you can start and stop your tracking app when you are ready-to-go and stop it when you've reached the distance you've registered for, even if you decide to run longer.

Team Challenge:  Is your organization, workplace or group of friends ready for a challenge?  

Teams of 7 or more individuals (maximum of 15 people) comprised of any age group will compete for first, second and third place trophies.  Teams will be able to take advantage of the Group rate receiving a $5 per person discount; however, they must register by March 26th to receive the discount & take part in the challenge.
