Lumber-JACKED 5K & Fun Run
The 7th annual Lumber-JACKED 5K & Fun Run will kick off the festivities bright and early at 8 a.m. on Sept. 19th. Runners will travel around the scenic Ellen Trout Memorial Lake. The early registration fee is $20 for ages 13 and up, and $15 for children 12 and under. Late registration will be $25 for ages 13 and up, and $20 for children 12 and under. This is a non-timed race and non-refundable.
Register by Sunday, August 30th to guarantee a t-shirt. All registrants after August 30th are not guaranteed to receive a shirt.
Packet pick-up will be available:
* Friday, September 18th from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce, located at 1615 S. Chestnut in Lufkin
* Saturday, September 19th beginning at 7:30 AM at the race location, Ellen Trout Zoo, 402 Zoo Circle in Lufkin
The packet will include a race t-shirt and a festival ticket.

Know Before You Go
Free parking will be available near Ellen Trout Zoo and designated parking areas.
We recommend arriving at least 30–45 minutes before your race start time to allow time for parking, check-in, packet pickup, and warm-up.

Your packet will include:
- Race t-shirt
- Texas State Forest Festival admission ticket
Check-in will be located at the pavilion closest to the Zoo Railroad Depot. Participants who pick up their race packet in advance will not need to check in on race morning. Those picking up packets the morning of the race are encouraged to arrive early to allow plenty of time before the race begins.
For the safety of all participants:
- Please stay aware of runners and walkers around you
- Children should remain supervised at all times
- Follow directions from race staff and volunteers
