Thumpin' 5k Run & 1 Mile

Trail Fun Run/Walk

Join us on 6/22/2024 for the 11th annual 5k & 1-mile off-road trail run and walk. The 5K consists of 3 laps around Zedler Park.  The course is not paved, but the trail will be graded.  The 5K is a timed event.  The 1-mile Fun Run/Walk is not timed.

Where: 
Zedler Park (Across the river from Zedler Mill), 1250 South Magnolia Ave, Luling, Texas 78648

All participants registered by June 9 will receive a T-shirt of the requested size.

5K Adult Day-of Registration will be $40 and $30 for 18 yo and under.  1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Day-of Registration will be $30

Packet pick-up will start at 6:45 a.m. on race day.

Medals will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd Men & Women 5K participants in these categories: 

14 & Under
15-24
25-34
35-44
45-54
55-64
65 and over

Who we are:
The Luling Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) is a 501(C)3, Non-Profit Corporation formed to work with the City of Luling Animal Control to benefit lost, seized, and abandoned animals within the City of Luling. We conduct adoption programs and have successfully placed hundreds of Dogs and Cats that would have otherwise been euthanized. LAWS has also raised significant funding to build a new Animal Shelter in Luling.
