Description
Run with the pack, Troop/Pack 181, is the first annual 5 kilometer run/walk with a kids 400 meter fun run event hosted by the Boy Scouts of America local scouts and cubs. This event is designed to bring the community together and benefit Troop/Pack 181. The entire 5k course will be run on Lumberton school grounds to ensure safety of participants. The 5k race will start on the north side of Lumberton High School parking lot and traverse both the High School and Intermediate School campuses. The course will conclude with one lap around the track to the finish line. The kids 400 meter fun run will be one lap around the brand new athletic track.
5k start time: 8am north side of Lumberton High School parking lot
Awards: 10:00am
Categories for awards: Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finisher.
Age group winners: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for males and females: 0-8,9-12,13-16,17-19,20-25,26-30,31-35,36-40,41-45,46-50,51-55,56-60,61-65, seniors older than 65
Awards will be wood medallions, hand crafted, by Boy Scouts using wood from Camp Urland clean up project.
Overall 1st place male and female winner will receive a $50 Gift card to Academy.
All first place finishers will receive a Free 20 oz. Smoothie King Gift card.
Pre Race Packet pickup: Thursday, November 3rd from 5pm-8pm, ALTUS EMERGENCY CENTER
Day of race packet pickup: Saturday, November 5th from 6am-7am at Lumberton High School student parking lot
Parking: Lumberton High School parking lot
Water and sports drink will be provided along course and at finish.
Post race food and fun activities
Kids 400 meter fun run, one lap around track, start time 9:30am
Kids fun run: all participants receive finishers medal and T-shirt

Mile Marker 1 is at exit, turning right, out of LUMBERTON INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL.
Mile marker 2 is at left turn, from parking lot, to sidewalk behind HIGH SCHOOL.
Finish is on track marked with a red dot.

HARD BEAN COFFEE is donating coffee for all volunteers to have the morning of race day
