This is not your standard turkey trot...
The Give Thanks Family Fun Walk & Cook-Off is an interactive, relaxing, self-paced gratitude walk designed for walkers of ALL ages.
We have created an experience where friends and families can slow down, connect, have meaningful conversations, participate in activities together and create memories that last a lifetime!
Along the route you’ll find:
✨ A Community Art Mural Walk
✨ Cultural craft stations
✨ Family fitness challenges & mini obstacle courses
✨ Professional family photo ops
✨ Wellness & mindfulness activities
✨ “Planting in Honor” tribute station
We’ll kick off with a Thanksgiving Taste-Off 🍴 and wrap up with an End Zone Celebration featuring live music, vendor booths, turkey giveaways, and prizes for the best-dressed walkers (yes, turkeys welcome 🦃).
💡 WHY IT MATTERS:
Every $2 raised = 1 meal for a Houston toddler in need.
Our goal: 9,000 meals = ONE FULL DAY of Kids’ Meals service
If you can’t attend, we can still deliver meals to toddlers in your honor!

Do you have a budding chef at home? Kids and adults alike can compete in the Bites of Thanks Cook-Off.
