Cotton Belt Trail

Description
The Cotton Belt Classic Sprint Duathlon is a fun duathlon competition that will take place on the Cotton Belt Trail in McGregor, TX. There are three legs to the race: a 3K run on the Cotton Belt Trail, followed by a 10-Mile bike ride on paved country roads, ending with a repeat of the 3K run on the Cotton Belt Trail. The Cotton Belt trail is a concrete trail located atop an old rail line along Highway 84 and crosses the South Bosque River.
Athletes can race as an individual or with a 2-person relay team.
This is a great event for the first-timer, relay teams and veterans alike.
Registration Info:
Pre-registration is required. Online registration closes Thursday, September 27, 2018. You can register in person at Packet Pick Up on Friday, September 28 for an extra $10. There will be no Race Day registration.
The registration fee for this event does NOT include the required USAT fee. Each athlete will be required to have a USAT membership. If you are not currently a USAT member, you must purchase a yearly membership or a one day membership during the registration process.

Participants must be at least 11 years old by Dec. 31, 2018.
Note:
- The 2018 Cotton Belt Classic Sprint Duathlon will be capped at 150 competitors.
- T-shirt size and availability are not guaranteed after September 16, 2018
- NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Relay Info
Two person relay. Any mix of male or female. There will be no separate age groups or gender divisions.
One person runs both running legs, the other person rides the bike leg.
