19th Annual Lisa Shampoe Cancer Care Foundation 5k run/walk

Join us 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ August 15, 2026 at the Mission Hike and Bike for the 19th annual 5K event 🎉
where the course will be an out and back on the paved path 🛣️. Run to win 🏅, jog 🏃, walk for your health 💪, do this for someone that you know who has had or has Cancer 🎗️.
This year we are working in conjunction with the IBC Bank 🤝 where proceeds will go to MD Anderson and will be matched by IBC Bank Dollar for Dollar💛.

Over the last 18 years, the Lisa Shampoe events have raised and donated more than $100,000 💰 to various cancer-fighting organizations and individuals.

Lisa Shampoe Cancer Care Foundation Mission Statement:
To help bring cancer awareness 🎗️ to our local community, financial support 💸 for treatment and research 🔬,
financial assistance in providing non-medical home care services 🏠 including respite care for those fighting Cancer and lacking financial resources.

Raffles:

• Chic-Fil-A (All pre-registered participants will be entered in a drawing for a free 1 year Chic-Fil-a meal)

 Shirts:  "We have 300 shirts for this event, but sizes are limited. Shirts will be given out by size in the order you sign up, until that size is gone."

🏆 Individual awards for 1st thru 3rd place male and female in each run category:
👶 9 and under, 👦 10–19, 👨 20–29, 👩 30–39, 🧔 40–49, 👵 50–59, 👴 60-69 and 70 and over
🏆 Individual award for the overall 5K male and female.
