Description
For the first time in history, the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch is opening up its 1250 acres for the 5K Freedom Run. Be the first to take part in this amazing opportunity to see the animal sanctuary, support a great cause and have some fun! Our goal is not only to bring attention to the use of great apes in research, but also to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of our chimpanzees named "Kitty".
The race is a run/walk event and will start at 8:00 a.m. with a beginning to intermediate course.
The course is partially on roads, across pastures and through wooded areas. Prizes will be given to the first, second and third place winners for men and women only.
It is not a stroller friendly path and please leave your pets at home as they are not allowed on property.
