The ideal bike for this route is most likely a drop bar 29er. Hardtail mountain bikes are good as are gravel/adventure bikes with 40mm and up tires. Road bikes are NOT appropriate for this ride, 100K and 100 mile riders need to be able to navigate via GPS device or the free access we will provide to the Ride With GPS app.
