The City of Pharr Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce that it will be hosting the 9th Annual 5K St. Patrick's Day Run/Walk on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 9:00 a.m. A 1 mile fun run /walk has been scheduled at 8:00 a.m. for kids ages 10 and under. Last year, over 1000 participants from the valley, as well as from across the United States and Mexico, participated in this event. The 5K race route begins on the west end of PSJA Stadium located on 709 E. Gore, runners then dash through the heart of this city, and then finish near the original starting line.
