Description
Calling all superheroes! We need you to join us for our 3rd annual race. All abilities are welcome to run, walk or roll the 5K course or fun run (untimed). Please see information below regarding registration - How you will participate.
Please join us for a fun race and the opportunity to encourage everyone to #MoveWhatYouCan because "CommunityIsOurSuperpower!
Powered to Move’s mission is Putting Christ’s Love in Action by providing people with intellectual and physical disabilities opportunities for physical fitness, social interaction and community connection. All proceeds and donations will be used to support our Adapted Fitness, Wingman and Handcycle program, as well as the activities and events at the Powered to Move Community Center.
Please note that a family member or friend must be registered to participate with those registrants who need assistance through the race, including those with intellectual disabilities and young children under the age of 5. Everyone participating in the race must be registered and displaying their bib while on the race course.
Please do not register as a Adapted Jogger Pusher unless you have contacted - sharyn@poweredtomove.org to make sure there is a need or that equipment is available if you would like to use our equipment.
-Manual Wheelchair participants, push chairs, hand cycles, race chairs and strollers are welcomed.
-Service animals will be the only animals allowed.

Awards in the 5k will be given as follows:
Overall winners in each catagory - M/F - Hand cycle, M/F - Wheelchair, M/F - Race Chair, Top team - Push Chair team (will receive 3 awards), M/F - 12 and below, M/F -13 to 19, M/F - 20 to 29, M/F - 30 to 39, M/F - 40 to 49, M/F - 50 to 59, M/F 60 to 69, M/F - 70+.
Fun Zone includes - FREE Food from CUTX Food Truck, Cotton Candy Superhero Art, awesome sponsor tables, games on the lawn, music.

Race Packet Pickup
Race packet pickup will be held on Friday, October 9th - Tongue in Cheek Homemade Ice Cream from 11am to 7pm - 3505 E. Park Blvd, Suite 300, Plano, TX 75074.
There will be limited packet pickup the day of the race. It is highly encouraged packets are picked up in advance while you enjoy some tasty ice cream.
