Breast Cancer Awareness 5K/9K Walk/Run

Join us for the 2nd Annual 59th MDW Breast Cancer Awareness 5K NON-Competitive Walk/Run & Competitive 9K run.  According to the American Cancer Society nearly 250,000 US women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and at least 40,610 with breast cancer will result in death.  The purpose of this event is to bring awareness in how to detect, prevent, and treat breast cancer.  The 5K is a NON competitive event, while the 9K is a COMPETITIVE event.   Friendly pets, children and strollers are welcomed at this family event.  The run will be held at Heritage Park on Randolph AFB. Check in and registration begins at 0730 and the run begins at 0800.  You are encouraged to appropriately show your support for breast cancer awareness event, T-shirts are available for purchase through the "Store" tab.  You MUST HAVE BASE ACCESS to participate.  Registration is FREE.
