Description
Join us for the Inaugural Battle for the Books 5k Run and Walk and celebrate National Literacy month the right way. Let's come together and run or walk to show our support for students, teachers, and Language Arts education. We will gather at the historic Woodlawn Lake Park and get active. Be sure to bring your furry friends and dress them up in costume and they may win our pet costume contest. Or feel free to dress up yourself and your team and participate in our Literary Costume Contest. There will be food trucks, music, and massages by Bela Marie's Massage Therapy. Registration fee includes shirt and finisher medal!
