Run This Mother 5k and Half Marathon

Pre Race activities

1. We are limiting the number of register runners for a live event to a maximum of 300 people and everyone else is Virtual. 

2. We will send all virtual packets to our runners and we host a walk up packet pick up where runners just bring their number sent via email and pick up a packet. This will held outside where people can drive up. 

3. We make sure that all members at packet pick up have gloves, hand Sanitizer available after every contact and all wearing mask. Each packet contains everything they need for their event shirt, bib, timing chips, and medals, mask so there is no need for further contact. 

Race Day Activities

1. We have runners show up a designated area and time and must wait to come to the finish line until their set time to begin the event. 

2. All runners must wear mask when they approach the starting line and must carry one with them during the race. At times we provide mask for all register runners to make sure they have one. 

3. Runners begin the event at their own designated time, no more than 6 to 10 persons at a time at the starting line area and are controlled by bib number. usually within 30 sec to minute for each starting the event. 

4. On the course runners must maintain the limit of 6 to 8 feet across and we try to design courses where runners do not come in front contact from each other. 

5. We have single serving waters stops, we also have sanitizer at the water stations, we have all volunteers there with mask and gloves

6. As runners finish, they are required to go past the finish area and allow themselves to get their breath back still maintaining the minimal distance of 6 feet. As soon as they are able, they are required to wear a mask. 

7. All volunteers are always required to wear gloves and masks during the event. We also have signs reminding all runners and people of the event rules. we enforce all the rules as much as possible. 

Post-race finish

1. we send all finish times to runners via online link or phone link 

2. we do not have Age Group Awards all runners will receive their finisher medals

3. Post Race Activities TBD (To Be determined)

4. there is single serving water and sanitizing stations (hand sanitizer, wipes, masks) available through the finish line area

5. all runners leave the area within minutes of their finish

Virtual packets: 

those that signed up for the virtual will have their packets sent out a few days prior to the race so that you receive your items to perform the run prior to Mother’s Day or on Mother’s Day. 

Last day packet pick up will be available so if you cannot pick up your packet please come over a little early on May the 9th from 6:30am to 8:00am. If you have any questions please contact us edragontees@gmail.com
