Description

Join the SARR Off-RoadRunners (ORR) Training Team as we train for the TROT El Taco Loco Trail Run on Oct 23, 2021. This training program will get you transitioned to the trails and ready to conquer your race.

All levels of runners are welcome
Dates: July 10 - Oct 23, 2021.
Programs: 100K, 50K, 25K. Also, 25K & 10K Run/Walk.
10K & 25K Run/Walk: For runners new to trail running or prefer the run/walk method.
25K: For beginner to intermediate trail runners.
100K & 50K: For experienced trail runners. Prerequisites: 50K - must be able to run 8 trail miles comfortably; 100K - must be able to run 13 trail miles comfortably

Training schedules written by experienced RRCA Certified Coaches.
Weekly Group Runs Saturday AM and Wednesday PM.
Train on natural trails including Eisenhower Park, McAllister Park, Government Canyon State Natural Area and others.
Includes SARR Training Team shirt.
Training is for SARR Members; join SARR during signup if not a member.
Base-Builder schedule for 50K/100K (virtual, on your own) begins June 7th.
Orientation + First Team Group Run: Saturday, July 10th, McAllister Park, Al Becken Pavilion.
First long run distances: 100K=10-12m; 50K=7-9m; 25K=2-3m; 10K=1m

Current Covid-19 guidelines allow for us to meet in small groups with proper social distancing. Should guidelines or restrictions change before or during our training season we will modify our in-person sessions accordingly.
