This is more than a run. It’s a tradition that brings our community together.
The Second Annual GHWH Run & Walk is back for 2026 — and this year, we’re growing!
In addition to our signature 5K Run, we’re excited to introduce a NEW 1.5 Mile Walk and a NEW Kids Run, giving even more students, families, friends, and community members a chance to participate.
Whether you’re racing for a personal best, enjoying a walk with family and friends, or cheering on one of our youngest runners, there’s an event for everyone.

Course map
The course begins near the Great Hearts Western Hills campus before sending runners around the perimeter of the school grounds. Participants will navigate a combination of long straightaways, sweeping turns, and tighter campus sections as they make their way past the Upper School, gym, athletic fields, and surrounding roads.
The route features multiple passes through the campus area, so runners should follow all course arrows, cones, signage, and volunteer instructions carefully. Mile markers will help participants track their progress throughout the 3.1-mile course.
