Description
This is our second annual 5K Fun Run Scholarship Fundraiser, the race will begin in front of the historic Stinson Municipal Airport alongside an active runway, will run through the mission and river walk and complete inside the airport grounds along the runway surrounded with aircrafts. Stinson Municipal Airport is the second oldest general aviation airport in continuous operation in the United States, with over 100 years of history. It will be a race you do not want to miss as we run through this historical area!
Not only will you be making history, but the proceeds of this race will benefit a young aviator through our annual chapter scholarship program. Women in Aviation Alamo City chapter is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to providing networking, education, mentoring and scholarship opportunities for women and men who are striving for challenging and fulfilling careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.

$25 adults and $15 for 15 years or younger

1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female also 1st male and female from each age group.
