Description
Join the Meadows neighborhood for a family fun Turkey Trot!
The full race course will be a 5k distance but we'll be looping thru the neighborhood so families can jump in or out to get in a little cardio before their Thanksgiving feast. The course will be well marked and volunteers will be around to help direct you and your family safely through.
This is a free race and open to the whole family. Strollers, bikes, scooters, and dogs are welcome. In lieu of an entry fee, if possible please bring a non-perishable food item. We will be donating them to the Kroger Food Bank to help everyone have a happy Thanksgiving!
Race will happen rain or shine! The whistle blows at 9:30am but you are welcome to arrive as early as 9am.
In order to simplify your race registration, this year we will not be offering race t-shirts.
For the first time ever you’ll have a chance to find a painted rock created by the Meadows very own Nancy Ward! There will be some hidden along the course so keep your eyes pealed.

Course Instructions and Map
The Turkey Trot will be held in the Meadows at Imperial Oaks neighborhood. There will be two 1.55 mile loops to run the full 5k. You are welcome to do one loop or challenge yourself with the two. Start and Finish line will be right at the Meadows clubhouse. The course will be well marked!

- Left on Clear Creek Dr
- Left on Park Plains
- Right on Laurel Creek
- Continue left on August Woods
- Left on Grand Hawthorne
- Right on Barton Valley
- Right on Jehlon
- Left on Sterling Heights
- Left on Laurel Creek
- Right on Park Plains
- Right on Clear Creek
- Cross Kendall Ridge then Right on Kendall Ridge and stay on the sidewalk back to the clubhouse
