Flamingo Flyers 5k

Due to construction, we will be starting out of Turkey Roost! We will start by the sand pit
volleyball area and make a right turn at .05 miles. We will continue straight at .17 miles
towards the screened shelters. We will stay to the right at .31 miles (there is a water
stop and bathrooms at .45 miles) and follow the circle around to .65 miles and turn right.
At .80 miles we will continue straight and make a left turn at .97 miles (There is a water
stop and bathrooms at 1.01 miles). We will continue straight at 1.08 miles and continue
straight at 1.17 miles (Do not turn into the campground). Continue to the big green
dumpsters or the dump station and make a U Turn at 1.28 miles. Continue Straight at
1.35 miles and continue straight at 1.43 miles (water stop and bathrooms at 1.53 miles).
Turn Right at 1.57 miles pass by Turkey Roost at 1.60 miles and follow the signs (this is
your second time passing by). There is a water stop and bathrooms at 2.01 miles and
again at 2.56 miles. After your U Turn this time follow the signs back to Turkey Roost
(there will be a ½ sign) having you to Turn Right into Turkey Roost and run along the
circle to the finish line! There will be water/sport drinks and bathrooms where we start
and finish.

Early registration for purchasing shirts ends on August 28, 2026. Shirts are $10 prior to August 28 and $15 at event. 

Early packet pick up will be from September 8 to September 11 from 8AM to 4 PM at 108 East Halstead Ave Copperas Cove TX
