Community Healthcore is sponsoring the Fourth Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. Community Healthcore is the Regional Authority for Mental Health Services and provides programs for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Events will include a 5K Run and 1 mile walk. Run in your turkey costume!! Other events will be a Gobble Trot for 7-10 years old, Giblet Trot for 4-6 years old; no entry fee. More events will include Turkey Costume Contest, Turkey Call Contest and Mascot Wobble. Come cheer your favorite mascot as they wobble to the finish line and get your pictures made with them. Bring out the entire family for some new traditions on Thanksgiving morning. Entry fee for 5K and 1 mile is $25.00. Can’t rise and shine or gobble at sunrise, making a donation to Turkey in the Straw of $25.00 gets you the t-shirt. All walkers, walkers with strollers or pets will line up behind the 5K runners. Strollers and pet entry fee is $10.00.
