Located at the Johnson Branch State Park, TexasMan triathlon distances feature a sand beach swim start. The bike ride features some “Texas hills.” (If you’re not from Texas, a Texas hill is just that… a hill… which breaks up the flat terrain of the area). The run is mostly tree lined through a state park.
Texasman Sprint Distance:
Swim - 500 yard open water
Bike - 16.5 miles
Run - 3.1 miles
Texasman Olympic Distance:
Swim - 1 mile open water
Bike - 24.1 miles
Run - 6.2 miles
Texasman X-50 Distance:
Please note the X-50 course has a cut off time of 1:30pm. If you are unable to meet the cut off, please choose the sprint or olympic distance.

Run - 9 miles

There will be one relay team option for the Sprint, Olympic and X-50 distances. Relay teams can consist of 2 or 3 participants all male, all female or a combination of both! There will be a first place award for the fastest team for each distance.

Packet pick up location and schedule will be posted the week of the event.
Remember to bring a valid photo id. If you are registering for the event, register online first then go to any scheduled packet pick up above to receive your packet.
If you do not have a USAT card, a one day membership will be available for $15.
You must pick up your own packet. NO EXCEPTIONS
Friends and family members may not pick up packets unless athlete is a minor.
No race day packet pick up.
No race transfers or deferrals.
Residents of Fort Worth with valid photo ID may pick up race morning outside of transition.
Swim waves will be announced the week of the race.

Transition will be open at 5:45 a.m. and will close at 6:45 a.m. Please have your helmet available for inspection. Body marking will be available at the transition entrance.
This is an open water swim. The Texasman Sprint swim distance is 500 yards. The Texasman Olympic and X-50 swim distance is 1 mile.

The Texasman Olympic Run distance is 6.2 miles.
The Texasman X-50 Bike distance is 40 miles.
The Texasman X-50 Run distance is 9 miles.
The awards will be three deep per age group with individual awards for overall male, overall female, overall masters female & male and overall grand masters female and male.
The break down of age group awards are as follows:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 -69, and 70 & over
Male – 40-59
Female – 40-54
Male – 60 and over
Female – 55 and over
Overall Finisher Awards and Age Group Awards are based on gun time for running events and chip time for triathlon events.
If you are not present to pick up your award, you may contact the race director to arrange to pick up your award by emailing email@example.com.
