Lion 5K Color Run

      The Lion 5K Color Run and kids' 1/2 mile color run is a fun, family friendly race day for all levels. The 5K run/walk takes place inside Claiborne West Park in Vidor, TX. It is run on a paved road and is stroller friendly.  Run, walk, or jump through each of our 7 color stations with your friends and have a blast! (If you aren't interested in getting color on you, you can easily avoid it.) 

         This is a timed event for anyone wanting to race it. All finishers receive a medal. The overall male and female finisher win a free pair of running shoes from our sponsor, On the Run in Beaumont, TX ($100 value). The top three in each age group receive a special one of a kind award made by students at our school. It is a fun eventful day that includes a bouncer, ChickfilA breakfast sandwiches (for the first 100 participants), door prizes, and of course lots of color!!!

    The kids' half mile race is held immediately following the 5K run/walk at 10 a.m. It is untimed, but each finisher receives a medal and there are 3 color stations the kids run through.
