This 6-week training program is designed to help you prepare for the 15K distance of the Chupacabra Trail Run on October 13. Whether you are a walker, beginning runner, or experienced runner, all fitness levels are welcome to participate. We will have various pace leaders that are familiar with the trails leading you through the Cameron Park Trail System. So, don’t worry about getting lost or dropped from your pace group. The distance of the runs will gradually increase during the program to build your endurance to be able to complete the 15K distance.
The program will kick-off on Saturday, September 1 and run through Saturday, October 6, 2018. Although registration is free for anyone, you are encouraged to become a member of the Waco Striders Running Club. The training runs will be held each Saturday. The time and location of the Saturday Group Run varies and you will be notified of the time & location each week.
