Striding for Wellness 5k

5k race to raise funds for the Heart of Texas Region MHMR's wellness programs. People with serious mental illness tend to die 25 years earlier than the general population. Many are dying of the same cause as the general population, Cardiovascular disease, just years earlier. HOTR MHMR has established numerous programs to address this disparity. This race helps to raise funds for our wellness programs for both clients and employees. If our employees are living healthy lives they are better able to empower our clients to do the same.
