Description
The Xpress is back!
Starting at Memorial Stadium, the 12k course takes you to the Lake Wichita Park paved trail system and guides you along the banks of Lake Wichita with great views of our beautiful park. This is an out and back course with a detour on the way back which takes you down Chat trail. Chat trail is 1.5 miles of gravel trail with stunning views.
The 5k route starts at the same time and winds through the beautiful neighborhood behind the stadium. Also very flat course. A perfect course for your first 5k.
NEW THIS YEAR THE KID MILE!
This fun run will start after the other two races are cleared.
Kid must be accompanied by an adult/guardian to be in this event. THIS IS A FREE EVENT WITH A MEDAL AT THE END FOR FINISHERS
Proceeds from this race will go directly to the local community. This year our own Midwestern State University Cross Country and Cycling will be recipient of this race. This is to help with the rising cost of traveling and supplies to keep this team continued support.
