Why Walk?
The Story of Pepper
When Pepper arrived to the SPCA Cincinnati, her fur was matted, and she was in pain. Unfortunately, she had a hernia and several badly broken teeth. She needed to be shaved, and her sensitive skin needed treatment from prolonged neglect. Our medical team went to work right away, first grooming her to uncover the beautiful little dog beneath the unkept fur. She was then vaccinated and provided medications to alleviate her pain. Pepper was then spayed and had her damaged teeth extracted. She went through a complete overhaul! She then spent time in SPCA Cincinnati’s Foster program, in order to give her a calm place to relax and recover. Once Pepper was ready, she was put up for adoption and found her Furever Home! Please see below for the full story of Pepper.
