Get Ready to Move and Make a Difference!

This May, SEI’s Together 4 Good campaign is back — recognizing ALS Awareness Month for the fifth straight year. ALS Awareness Month is dedicated to raising awareness about amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, as well as highlighting the challenges faced by those living with the disease, supporting research efforts for a cure, and honoring caregivers and healthcare professionals.

We’re inviting everyone to get involved this year to:

• Honor our beloved leader, friend, and colleague Brian Jones, Strayer University’s President Emeritus.
• Raise awareness about ALS.
• Fundraise to support the search for a cure.

How to Get Involved
Get moving! Join us for a Virtual 5K, a new Virtual Challenge, or a local Topgolf outing in Maryland:
1.  Team Brian Virtual 5K: Participate anytime from May 1 - June 30 in any way you like – walk, run, bike, swim, you name it!
2.  Team Brian Everyday Impact Challenge: A simple, flexible challenge that encourages everyday acts of connection, gratitude and giving back to make a meaningful impact.
3. Team Brian Takes on Topgolf: Join colleagues and friends for a fun, laid-back afternoon featuring friendly competition, great food, and meaningful impact. No golf experience is required — just come ready to connect, have fun, and support ALS research (for local DMV employees, family and friends)

Registration starts at just $25 per person, with all proceeds going to the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research, an organization close to Brian’s heart. Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Plus, SEI will match up to $25,000 of total donations!

Other Ways to Participate
You can continue to show your support by donating to the Packard Center and Team Brian or purchasing Team Brian merchandise. Remember, SEI will match up to $25,000 of total donations.
