A virtual event means you can participate from anywhere! You can walk or run anywhere—your neighborhood, a local trail, even your living room treadmill. Just log your distance online each day and join the holiday cheer from wherever you are. No crowds, no parking—just you, your steps, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit!

It’s easy! Each day you complete your walk or run, head to the Results tab on the 12Ks of Christmas RunSignup page and click Submit Virtual Results. Enter your distance for the day, and it’ll automatically update your total. You can log your kilometers daily from December 1–12—and remember, every day you log earns you an entry into that day’s prize drawing! Log at least a K every day and you'll be entered into the GRAND PRIZE drawing!

Each day from December 1–12, we’ll draw a winner from everyone who logs at least 1K that day—so the more days you move, the more chances you have to win! Daily prizes include amazing gifts from local sponsors. Everyone who completes all 12 days will also be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing for a special gift from Fleet Feet Roanoke!

Prizes must be picked up in person by the winners. Shipping of prizes will not be provided, so please plan to collect your prize in person prior to December 31. Details on where the prize can be picked up will be emailed to winners, but most prizes will be available for pickup at the business donating the prize, so it will be local to Roanoke, Virginia.

Spread the cheer! When you register, you’ll receive your own unique referral link to share with friends and family. Send it by text, email, or post it on social media to invite others to join the fun.

For every person who signs up using your link, you’ll earn an extra entry into every prize drawing you qualify for. The more people you refer, the better your chances to win—so start sharing and let’s grow the 12Ks of Christmas community!

Medals are available as an optional purchase. You'll have the opportunity to add a medal to your free registration during the registration process.
