Race Logistics
Start Line - RTD Aurora Metro Center Station (S Sable Blvd & E Centrepoint Dr)
Finish Line - 7/20 Memorial Reflection Garden in front of the Aurora Municipal Center
Parking - 7/20 Memorial Reflection Garden and Aurora Municipal Center parking lot
Transportation - Transportation will be provided to participants from the parking lot at the 7/20 Memorial to the start line ONLY. Participants are also welcome to walk from the parking lot to the start line, but should keep in mind the construction on Alameda Ave and Alameda Dr. Final transportation will leave the registration site at 7:45am. The run/walk will begin at 8:00am.
Day-of Packet Pick Up & Registration - Southeast corner of the Aurora Municipal Center building.
The Course Journey
Participants will begin at the northwest corner of the Park & Ride, headed north along the trail. The course will then move through City Center Park, along High Line Canal Trail, weave through the grounds of the Aurora Municipality Headquarters, and culminate at the 7/20 Memorial Reflection Garden. Water stations will be located at registration/finish line and around the 1.5 mile marker. Participants will complete the course under the Runner's Roost inflatable tunnel, and are encouraged to stay for the awards ceremony immediately following. See the image below for a course map. 5K Course
Kids Fun Run
If your child is signed up for the Kids Fun Run, please meet at the Check-In tent at 8:40am. Their race will begin at 8:45am near the Check-In tent marked with an orange star below, will loop around the great lawn once, and then finish under the Runner's Roost arched finish line. This race is just for fun and not timed.
