Race Weekend Schedule
Please note, there will be no paper registration offering at any point. You must register online before registration closes. Know your race course, including the 3 mile walk course. Roads will be open to local traffic, ear buds are discouraged for safety reasons.
We plan to have a lead biker for 12K and 4.37 mile race. Saturday's weather forecast, temps will be in the mid to upper 40s at the start with sun and clouds. Dress accordingly.
Water Stop and Parking: Review the google map below. There has been zoning changes at Lake Bloomington as it relates to Parking around Green Gables. Due to these changes we suggest runners park at E 2500 North Road, which most have done at past Lake Run events. Suggest car pooling with runners and family members within your circles.
Do not park at Green Gables, Lake Road Inn, or Bill's cars which is next to Green Gables. Post race, your welcome to move your car to Green Gables, which will be limited parking throughout the day. Lake Road Inn is closed, can be used for a temporary pull off point to drop off runners and move down to park at Davis Lodge from 7:30-8:25 AM, or circle back through the Lake Road Inn lot and park with your car heading west on E 2500 North Road.
Golf cart shuttling between Davis Lodge, (1/2 mile from start/finish line) based on volunteer availability starting at 7:30 AM, and throughout the day. Highly recommended arriving no later than 30 minutes before your race start time.

FRIDAY BIB/SHIRT PICKUP
3:30 PM - 6:30 PM 305 S Linden St, Normal, IL 61761. Look for sign off Linden street.
Gear Drop. We will have a gear drop in the Uhaul van, please no valuables or cell phones, we will not be responsible for any loss of valuable items.
SATURDAY SCHEDULE
7:30 AM - 8:55 AM Bib and shirt pickup at the race site. 12K Runners will need to get their Bibs by no later than 8:25 AM.
8:30 AM - 12K begins - Water-only stations at Mile 2, 4.25, 6.5
9:00 AM - 3 Mile Walk begins. Course follows the 7K, turning left at Carvers corner water stop to the Park and back to start.
9:00 AM - 4.37 Mile (7K) begins - Water only stations at Carvers Corner (mile 1 and 3.37 mark)
9:30 AM Post Race food and refreshments.
10:00 - AM (approximately) - Awards Ceremony across from Green Gables. Top three in age group and overall male/female. Best costume for National Harry Potter day, and our famous foot pounder categories.
Post Race Activities: Green Gables Post Party in their beer garden.
9:45 AM Beer Garden Green Gables - Sponsored by Lake Run Club, Green Gables, Lake Shore Beverage, as well as our T-Shirt sponsors. Race participants get one drink tickets at your packet pickup. Must be 21 or older have your ID with you. Drink Responsibly.
This race is part of the Lake Run Club race circuit. Join the Lake Run Club, and be awarded either free race entries into 2027 races, or gift cards to local establishments! Lake Run Club handed out over $1300 worth of gift cards and free races entries last year!
