The Marathon Project Virtual Challenge

26.2 days of races and running challenges!

Race Details

The Marathon Project Virtual Challenge is for EVERYONE! We wish we could host all of you on our awesome course in Arizona but it's just not possible due to the Pandemic. So our Marathon Project Virtual Challenge is the next best thing. Your Marathon Project Virtual Challenge registration includes the opportunity to participate/compete in four different races over 26 days: a 5k, a 10k, a Half Marathon, and a Marathon. You will also be entered in our Mileage Madness competition where every single mile you run over that period will be added up. Compete against yourself to see how many miles you can run in that time, or compete against runners from around the world for the title of Marathon Project Mileage Madness Champion; Most miles wins! The Challenge begins on November 25th, 2020 and ends on Marathon Project Race Day - December 20, 2020.  We will crown a winner in each distance as well as a Mileage Madness champion.

Five dollars from every single Virtual Challenge Entry will go directly to the USATF Foundation. The USATF Foundation supports the development of emerging elite athletes, while fostering integration within the broader track & field community. Its Run With US! program is a school and community center based program utilizing elite track and field athletes--Olympians and Olympic hopefuls teaching about track and field, running, exercise, nutrition, goal-setting, and self-esteem. Please help us help the future of U.S. Track and Field.

Profits from the Virtual Challenge will also help us make The Marathon Project the best event it can possibly be, not only for the athletes, but also for the fans watching at home. Please help us show the world how great our sport can be!
