Rachel, 2025: “I’ve done a lot of races—from 5Ks to ultramarathons—so I’ve seen the full spectrum of race management. Sunday was my first non-virtual, non-Bayshore marathon, and I was WICKED impressed with how well it was run.
I appreciated all the pre-race communication (especially details like ‘where to find carbs and coffee’—so important!). Race day was run so smoothly—excellent course markings, aid station spacing, and start/finish setups, especially for an inaugural event.
I loved the medal and the sweatshirt instead of a t-shirt. The course design was perfect—those ‘neighborhood/downtown loops’ early rather than late were so appreciated. Please don’t change a thing!
The same-day course photos were incredible, and though I was too wiped out to enjoy all the finish line food, I really appreciated the medical staff who came to check on me.
I look forward to recommending the event to other runners as well as to returning myself.”
Marilyn, 2025: "I was GATORADE girl at the mile 12/25 Aid Station. Huge shout out to the group of participants that finished the race, but went back out to help their friend complete the race. Being part of something like that is what will keep me coming back."
