Day of Race Info
The course is basically out and back (with a bit of a lollipop loop), well-groomed, with miles marked.
We will accept same day registrations (without event shirt giveaway). Cash is preferred as cell service is limited in the park for card reader.
Our awards are unique! We will be awarding the Overall Male and Female winners, Masters Male and Female winners, and age group 1st through 3rd (5 year increments) in the 10 and 5 miler.
When you enter Tippecanoe River State Park, the gate fee will be $7.00 per vehicle ($9.00 for out of state license), so carpool if you want. You will then follow the signs for parking and packet pickup which will open at 7:30 am EASTERN TIME. The event is about a mile into the park, so plan accordingly.
Modern restrooms, space to warm up, pre-race water and meeting areas are all yours! We invite you to warm up on the trail before the race.
Race start will be 9:00, with countdown and announcements starting at 8:30. Medical staff from Pulaski Memorial Hospital will be with us, as well as door prizes from Hoka Shoes. Pizza, fresh donuts, bananas and water are available after the race. For those who wish to spend the day at the park, there are many things to enjoy after the races, including horseback riding (BYOH), fire tower, and paintball at Fort Knox Paintball, just a few miles north of the park.
