The Run on TP 2020 - Virtual Race

April and May 2020 Stafford, VA 22554 US

FAQS

Q: Is this an April Fool's joke?
A: Do we look like we're joking?  Ah, that's right you can't see us!  This is for real.  Our hope is that this will be fun experience that will bring a smile to your face during this difficult time.

Q: What do toilet paper rolls have to do with the distances?
A: We did a little research and found out that:  1 Toilet Paper Roll when unwound = 302 feet.

In keeping with the "COVID-19" theme:

19 Toilet Paper Rolls = 1.08 miles -- Single Ply Distance
38 Toilet Paper Rolls = 2.16 miles -- Double Ply
57 Toilet Paper Rolls = 3.24 miles - Triple Ply (a real thing!)
And we added in a 19K distance for those who want to run a little further.

Q: Do I have to do this alone?
A: Absolutely not!  This would be a great way for your entire family to get outside, burn off some energy and make a memory.  Family discounts are available!

Q: How do I provide proof of completion?
A:  Email us a screenshot of a fitness app on your phone, or a fitness watch that shows the distance completed.  Or you can email us your finishing time.  We will work on the honor system!  Send your e-mail to admin@runnersarsenal.com.

Q: When can I expect to get my bib, medal, and t-shirt?
A: We will make every attempt to get your race goodies in the mail within 2-4 weeks after completion of your race.

Q: The Run on Toilet Paper: Does that mean I have to wear toilet paper shoes?
A: You are not required to, but you absolutely can if you feel like you have enough squares to spare. You do you.  If you choose to do so, however, we recommend using at least double ply toilet paper to ensure proper cushioning.

Q: Am I required to carry toilet paper with me?
A: We can't force you to do anything, but carrying TP with you might come in handy, especially if you are running the ultra.
