Transforming the Toledo Riverfront
With Metroparks Toledo leading the project, the restoration of natural areas, creation of wetlands that improve the health of the Maumee River, and the planting of thousands of trees within the urban environment will be pillars of this transformational riverfront project.
With nearly 80 acres already restored and accessible, and an additional 220 acres of riverfront green space under development, we continue building towards connecting six neighborhoods and creating a diverse array of recreational opportunities along the Maumee River.
