Tour de Scottsdale

You do not have to register for PLATINUM. But you must attend the meeting and be qualified for PLATINUM!

All Platinum Riders must attend one of the Platinum Meetings on Friday April 11 at 1pm or 6pm at the North Hall of WestWorld of Scottsdale. This is at the same location as packet pick-up. The meetings should run about 45 minutes. You will receive your Platinum wristband at the conclusion of the meeting that allows access to the Platinum corral at the start of the race.

 

 

To be eligible for Platinum, you must be a Cat 1 or Cat 2 cyclist or qualified at El Tour de Tucson in the past 4 years or Tour de Scottsdale last year.  This insures that the lead riders are highly skilled and have the ability to compete at the highest level.

Platinum Qualifying

Riders that finish the 100KM under 3:00 hours for Men and 3:15 for Women will earn Platinum Status for all El Tour events.  El Tour de Tucson will now have a Platinum Category for the 100KM as well this year
