We are very excited to see you all at Trail Night NJ on July 8th! Below you can find some preliminary race day instructions. Please review this information carefully, and let us know if you have any questions! 

Event Location:

Turtle Back Rock Picnic Area

374 Walker Rd
West Orange, NJ 07052 US

Schedule:

5:00 PM – Check-in opens, DJ + vendors live
5:45 PM – Kids 1 Mile Race Starts
6:05 PM – Open 5K Trail Race Start
7:45 PM – All runners off course
7:00–7:50 PM – Awards + After Party
8:00 PM – Event concludes 

* Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive. If you are not at packet pickup before 6PM, you run the risk of missing your race. 

** Note that there are no corrals/start groups for this event. All participants in each race will start together in one mass start. 

Parking:

• Option #1: Turtle Back Rock Picnic Parking Lot - Approximately 125-150 spots.  Our recommendation is to come early. (Distance to start - 0 miles)
• Option #2: Maple Ave - Residential Neighborhood (Distance to start .2 miles)
• Option #3: Knollwood Drive - Residential Neighborhood (Distance to start .3 miles)

Picking Up Your Bib:

You can pick up your bib near the start/finish area on race day (July 8th) from 5PM-6PM. You can look for "Packet Pick Up" signs. Packet pickup will close at 6PM.

Participant Giveaway:

All registered runners receive a Trail Night NJ Premium cotton blend tee and the top 3 finishers in each age group will receive a Trail Night pint glass

Beyond Running:

• Central Event Hub: DJ, vendors, food trucks, and brand activations at the start/finish
• Post-Race Hangout: Stick around, grab food, and enjoy the summer night atmosphere

Volunteers:

Volunteers can check in at the packet pickup table. Thank you for volunteering!

We are still looking for a few more volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please register here. All volunteers will receive a free race day shirt and entry into a future Trials of Miles race. 

Registration Deadline:

Registration will be open until the day of the event OR until it sells out at 450 participants. If you have any friends or family interested in participating, register now!
