One of our goals of the Treadhoofalon is to give back to the various trail user groups. Any profits that the event generates will be evenly distributed to charities of each clubs choice.
Backcountry Horsemen of America - McClellan Chapter
Sassy Tails Outreach Program - “Bringing Smiles to Special People, One Ride at Time!” Sassy Tails offers equine-assisted therapy, using the connection between people and horses to enhance physical or emotional healing. They focus their work on special needs children.
Northeast Alabama Bicycle Association
Wiggins Community Center Bike Trail Project - The Northeast Alabama Biking Association (NEABA) trail crew wants to expand the trails at Wiggins Community Center. The community center hosts after-school and summer biking programs that help local kids learn skills and gain confidence on a bicycle.
Anniston Runners Club
Suzy Spiceland Michelson Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is in memory of Suzy Spiceland Michelson, long-time educator and Anniston Runners Club member, and is open to any Calhoun County area graduating senior who is a member of their school’s cross country or track team.
