Registration FAQs
Online registration ends 30 minutes before the race starts, which is 7:30AM for the Marathon and 8:00AM for the Half Marathon.
Entry fees increase at 11:59PM Pacific on December 31, April 30, and October 8.
Registion before October 8th is required to guarantee a shirt for the marathon, half marathon and marathon relay.
The race entry fee is non-refundable, with no exceptions, including injuries. If you want to switch events, no refund will be provided if the new event costs less. If the new event costs more, you must pay the difference before your transfer is finalized. Please note that Tri-Cities Marathon reserves the right to limit or deny transfer requests and may change this policy at any time.
You may defer your current registration to the 2027 Tri-Cities Marathon up to October 5th. Deferral may not be for any races beyond 2027.
Packet Pick Up FAQs
We will have packet pick up at Fleet Feet Tri-Cities (620 George Washington Way, Richland) Saturday 10/24.
Yes. We can usually find registered racers with the first and last name only, but sometimes a date of birth is necessary if more than one racer shares a name. Please ensure the person picking up your packet is ready with all this information.

The Tri-Cities Marathon is returning to the 2005 course with a couple minor reroutes. An interactive course map can be found at the link below.

The course is currently undergoing recertification through USA Track & Field, and should be finalized in Summer 2026.
Yes. Every aid station will have water and electrolytes. Gels and other quick snacks will be placed at select stations.
Aid stations are approximately every 2 miles.
Marathoners can start at 7:00AM but will not be eligible for any race prizes. Also be aware that the aid stations will not open until 8:00AM. The course is only open until 2:00PM, which requires racers starting at 8:00AM to maintain less than a 13:30 minute mile pace.
Yes, but space is limited. Gear will be bagged and sorted by bib number. Gear left at the finish line after the course closes and racers have left will be donated.
Hydration packs are allowed. The Tri-Cities Marathon follows USA Track & Field rules which instruct racers to only take fuel from race aid stations or what racers have with them at the start of the race. This includes hydration packs, water bottles, gels in pockets, etc.
Headphones, ear buds, etc. are allowable as long as the racer can hear volunteers and other nearby racers. Racers are also advised that no amplified sound is allowed and the listening device must only be audible to the user.
Also, the Tri-Cities Marathon may follow USA Track & Field rules that no competitor who uses any audio or communication device can win any awards.

Nonprofit groups may be eligible for a donation to their organization, and individual volunteers may be eligible for a discount code for a future event, based on hours served.
Free parking is available across the street from the Riverfront Hotel and at the Richland Community Center. Participants may also park along Amon Park Drive/Road, in the Howard Amon Park parking lots on Lee Boulevard, and at the Howard Amon Boat Launch.
Additional free parking is available about one mile or less from the start/finish line at John Dam Plaza, City of Richland lots, and Columbia Point Marina Park.
Parking is generally plentiful near the start, but please use only approved parking areas. Note that the Riverfront Hotel will be hosting another event during race weekend, and its parking lot is reserved for registered hotel guests only.
Yes. Porta-potties will be available at the start and end of the race. Please do not use the restrooms inside the Riverfront Hotel as these are for registered guests only.
