Triquest Okemo Trail Run
- The 7.9 mile course starts at the Jackson Gore base.
- The course climbs a total of 2200’ bringing you up to the Summit of Okemo. There are a few downhill sections on the way "up" and a few uphill sections on the way "down."
- The course climbs immediately up southern Crossing & Jack-a-lope trails to the Solitude base where you will get a slight break from the climbing before ascending Village Run to Mountain Road.
- The first Aid Station is ahead where you turn off Mountain Road at "The Zone" (Mile 1.41).
- You continue on Mountain Road for a few hundred feet, and now you get a climbing break traversing and descending the Moose Trek Hiking trail to the base of Sunburst Six where you will pick up the Bear Climb Hiking trail all the way to the summit.
- Smile as you summit and cross our timing mat (prize for the kings and queens of the mountain!) as we get a great pic of you before you descend the Upper portion of the Moose Trek Trail, be sure to refill at the summit aid station (4.17 Miles)
- You will continue your descent down the Moose Trek Trail to its intersection with the Arrows which you will descend to Mountain road.
- Refill your hydration at the aid station with 1.39 miles remaining where you will retrace your path down Village Run, Jack-a-lope & Southern Crossing to our finish line at Jackson Gore!
- Please watch your step on the way down as the trail may traverse sections that can be step, rocky, grassy, wet & slippery at the same time!
- The course will be marked with flags, barrier tape and stakes, and cones as needed. For your safety, please follow the precise course. If you encounter an injured athlete, please inform the nearest volunteer, EMT or rescue services.
- All Athletes are subject to a strict cut-off time at the summit of Okemo, of 2 hours. You will be treated to a chairlift ride down and then __?) to Jackson Gore for our epic after party featuring the triquest CFO (Chief Fun Officer) Sammy B!
