Course
The Tupelo marathon course runs from downtown Tupelo through several older neighborhoods and has a small town feel to it. Being Northeast Mississippi it has rolling hills but is very similar to the old course in elevation change.
The marathon and 13.1 miler will both begin at 5:00 AM and use the same starting line on the east side of the coliseum. Both races will use the same finish line - inside the coliseum. The 13.1 miler runners will do the course once and the marathoners will do a small loop in the parking lot before doing the course a second time.
