THE ACME 2020 RELAY RACE

We're developing a new type of virtual racing: RELAY'S

And we need your help. For a very limited time, we are testing one type of relay race where a team of 24 individuals race against the clock to go as far as they can go!

Here's how it works!

Each participant will choose 1 hour of the day on June 20,  2020 to go as far as possible. At the end of the relay, we'll add up the distance to see how far your team went!

In the spirit of experimentation, we're calling this the ACME 2020 RELAY RACE. This is just for fun.

Our plan is to have these two teams: "Roadrunners" and "Coyotes". While supplies last, you will be able to choose what time slot and team you would like to race on.

The team that goes the farthest wins: NOTHING!

All participants will get a fun ACME TEST SUBJECT t-shirt and we'll email a digital bib that you can print at home.

As we've developed these concepts, we've learned that there are a lot of variables that don't exist with our usual races. We have picked a couple of variables to test here, but we appreciate your patience as there are lots of ideas we have that we aren't testing yet.

There are some important technology components that we will continue to devlop, but that's not something we'll test during this race. We will ask for your feedback on your racing experience and the overall concept of this event with the understanding that there will be some tech hurdles to overcome if this is a product we will develop further.

The race will start at Midnight UTC June 20, 2020 (8 p.m. ET) and finish at 11:59 p.m. that same day.

Shirt Info & Deadlines

• As soon as we fill up the race, we'll order the shirts to be printed. Your shirt will NOT arrive before the race. The shirt will probably arrive in your mailbox the week of June 29.
• Registration will close as soon as we have filled the teams up.

Please double check the size chart before registering. These shirts are 100% Cotton and are a "Straight Unisex Fit" following standard Men's Sizing.

NOTE: There are no Women's cut shirts available for this event. Please choose "Men's" below.

Everyone that registers for a shirt will get it - regardless of whether you finish your race.

This event is only $12.95! Future race prices will be similar to our other virtual events.

This event has no finisher medal. 

How Reporting Will Work

Within 10 minutes after you finish your leg of the relay, you will need to indicate how far you went by filling out a brief form - similar to this. Your results will automatically be included in a chart that we'll share with the teams - similar to this.

FWIW: If this is something we develop into a full-fledged product, the reporting process will be more streamlined.
