Event Description
EVERY MILE HELPS MEND A SMILE
The Smiles Ahead 5k is a family friendly charity race supporting the Utah Smiles Foundation and children affected by cleft lips, cleft palates, and craniofacial conditions. All proceeds will be donated to the foundation to help pay for kids surgeries and care.

How long is fun run? The fun run course distance is a half mile long.
Where will the awards be held? Awards will be held in the pavilion. The top three male and female finishers receive awards.
Does every participant get a participation medal or only a shirt? All participants will receive a small medal and an awesome T-shirt. If we grow next year the medals will too!

This course begins at Mitchell Hollow Park and races out and back along the Murdock Canal trail where you'll finish back at the park. This race is almost entirely flat so it's the perfect race to try for a PR!
If you prefer low and slow then come join our fun run and enjoy a half mile jog/walk and cruise on in for your medal and post-race snacks.
PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup will be on race day only so come early! It will be open from 7am-7:50am September 12. You will find the registration table under the pavilion. We look forward to seeing you!
