Description
Badizo brings active people virtually to improve the world one step at a time. Badizo means to move, and our purpose is to get out, move, and help to bring aid to the world's needy.
This year's 2023 Badizo Virtual 5K will be the most accessible Run/Walk/Go fun event in history for participants to compete wherever they live, anywhere in the world. Your participation will benefit those in need around the globe. You help make the world a better place.
We are partnering with two charities for this year's 2023 5k event.
The Mercy Project - Mercy Project’s mission is to rescue children from slavery.
We partner with families and communities trapped in the cycle of poverty, empowering them with sustainable economic solutions to free children from forced labor.
Unified Languages - Teach people English to bridge the gap between cultures.
We founded Unified Languages with the hope of helping people to understand, read, write, and speak English. We have seen how this additional skill and other employable skills can provide people with jobs in a global economy and bridge the gap between cultures.
At Badizo, we promise whatever you donate beyond the 5k registration fee, 100% will go toward the charities we are partnering with. Together we Running to the World's Aid.
Badizo works the same way as other running events. The difference is that you create your course at the location of your choice. Then run, walk, or wheelchair the course you designed. You will track and report your performance that you have completed the distance.
