The Park City Trail Series Half Marathon is a trail running race in Park City, Utah with big views of the surrounding Utah peaks and ski resorts. This is the final race of the Trail Series and most challenging course. Leave the trekking poles at home; this 1200'vert course is for runners.
Without any single hill being overwhelming, the sum of its parts is what makes the finish line such an accomplishment. This is not a course for a first time trail runner unless you really want a challenge. The half marathon includes the most scenic viewpoints from all the races earlier in the series. In addition, it has the most technical downhill portion of any of the races. The course has a lot of single track, a lot of switchbacks, and prepares the newer trail runner for any trail or terrain out there.
