Rockapulco Paddle Fest @ Rockport State Park/Rockport Marina

NO SHIRT, NO SHOES, NO PROBLEM! Benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project. - Full ticket ($45 entry) includes lunch from Rockport Marina Grill and event T-shirt.

$5 of each entry goes to support our Wounded Warriors. They put everything on the line to serve our country, and this is a small way for us to say "Thank you!" to our service men and women.

Rockapulco Paddlefest is an event for all ability levels. Beginners to advanced paddlers will find a fun and rewarding experience. From the Kids' Paddle to the Elite Course, spectators will be able to cheer their competitors on as the races take place near the shoreline at Rockport Marina. Free board demos from top companies, clinics, and live music in the afternoon make for a great day on the water and the beach!

8:00AM: On-site Registration

9:00AM: Risner Memorial Demos & Clinics. Free participation. Must check in and sign waiver to participate.

10:30AM: "Mission Possible" All-Rounder Fun Paddle & Kids' Races. Perfect for beginners, 2 laps around the course. This event is for anyone, even if you've never done a race before.

11:30AM: Open and Elite Race! Short, turns-intensive course designed by Kristian Mulholland and Michael "Schwabby" Schwab. Mass start. Shore start vs. wet start to be determined by shore conditions on the day of the event. Water's dropping, but fun either way.

• Open Race: 2 laps (1.4 mi.)

• Elite Race: 4 laps (2.8 mi.)

12:30PM - 1:30: Lunch

2:00PM: Luck-of-the-Draw Team Relay. Put your name in a bucket and find out who your team-mates will be!

2:45PM: Awards

Directions from Salt Lake: Take I-80 East to Exit 155 for UT-32 S toward Wanship/Kamas. Turn Right. Turn left onto UT-302 N. Drive to Rockport Marina.

Directions from Heber City: Take US-189 North to Exit 4 Kearns Blvd. Turn Right toward Kamas onto UT-248 E. Drive 1.7 miles to Brown's Canyon Rd., turn left. Go to N State Rd 32, turn left. Go to park entrance/UT-302, turn right. Drive to Rockport Marina.
