Description
Join us for the 12th annual Pleasant View Founder's Day 5k! This fun run is a fast, family friendly course starting on the canal above Weber High School and running East to Washington Blvd, down Washington to Weber High Drive and down Weber High Drive to Barker Park. The Majority of the course is flat or downhill and will make for a fun, fast run for all ages. The race starts at 7 am followed by breakfast at 7:30 am.
Bring your family and friends to cheer you on an join you for the Pleasant View Founder's Day breakfast. The Founder's day breakfast is a fundraiser towards building a veteran's memorial near the Pleasant View City building. The breakfast is included with your race fee and is only $5 for everyone else.
Race packet pick-up will be at Barker Park Pavilion (3500 N 550 W Pleasant View) on Friday June 21st from 6:30-8:00 pm, and Saturday morning June 22nd from 6:00 - 6:30 am. There is not enough time to make it to the starting line if you check in after 6:30. We highly recommend getting your bib or having someone pick up your bib the night before.
Registration includes:
- Breakfast
- Race shirt (for early registrations) Shirts are not guaranteed after June 1st.
- Electronic timing chip and online results
- Supported aid station
- Awards for first, second, and third place for each age group!
- Overall winner awards for top male and female finishers
