HALF MARATHON BUS LOADING TIME & LOCATION

TIME: 5:30 – 6:45 AM

The costume contest for the best male, female, and group will start at 7:00 AM. Make sure you’re on one of the earlier buses if you want to participate!

LOCATION: SW of the finish line at 5005 North 300 West, Provo, UT

You must be at the bus loading by 6:30 AM to guarantee transportation to the start. If you miss the bus, you forfeit your registration and ability to run the race, so please be prompt. THERE IS NO SELF-TRANSPORTATION TO THE START.

HALF MARATHON

START: 8:00 AM
NEW LOCATION: Big Springs Park in Provo Canyon
7:00 AM: Costume Contest — The crowd will vote on the top 3 best male and female costumes for free or discounted race entries, plus tickets to the terrifying Haunted Circus. Plus prizes for the best group costume! RUSO Run Club‘s mobile DJ booth will keep the energy going all morning long.

Ride one of the earlier buses to make sure you don’t miss all the fun!

*COLD WEATHER WARNING* Brrrr…Those fall temps are creepin’ in! Please note that the temperature might be 40° F or colder at the start of the race. Dance to the music and warm up while sipping (or holding) hot chocolate. Use your race bag to drop your warmer clothes and/or blankets to pick up at the finish, or use a donation bin at the start. Clothing left on the course will be picked up by the clean-up crew and thrown away or donated. Jump down to Bag Drop info.

KIDS RUN

START: 11:00 AM
NEW LOCATION: Qualtrics Cloud Village Parking Lot – North of the Finish Line

BAG DROP

A bag drop is provided only at the Half Marathon start line.

Please use the bag you receive at the expo with your race packet to put any items that you bring to the start and won’t be running with. Tear-off the tag with your race number from the bottom of your bib and attach it with the zip tie provided in your bag. You can also use a permanent marker to write your bib number in the box on the front of the bag.

**Please only put items in the bag that do not have personal, valuable, or essential (like car keys!). Runtastic is not liable for the loss or damage of any belongings that are put in the drop bags.

DROP AT START — PICK-UP AT FINISH: Announcements will be made to drop your bag in the designated Bag Drop vehicle 5 minutes before the start of the race, so you can keep your warm clothes longer. You can retrieve your bag with your race bib number at the Bag Pick-up Corral, located north of the Finish Line at the Qualtrics Cloud Village’s parking lot.

DISCARDING CLOTHING & TRASH ON THE COURSE:

To help keep the course clean and our staff/volunteers safe on the road, please ONLY discard clothing at the start, at Mile 2, or at Aid Stations in designated donation bins. Please carry trash to discard in bins at Mile Markers or Aid Stations. Clothing left on the course will be picked up by the clean-up crew and thrown away or donated.

AID STATIONS

Redmond Re-Lyte, water, porta-potties, and a first aid kit will be available at each station. Look for Redmond Re-Lyte on the first table and water on the second.

GU will be available on the course at Aid Station B and Aid Station D for Half Marathon runners.

Brave the Spook Alley tunnel and skeleton graveyard to finish strong through the giant inflatable pumpkin finish line, where you will be celebrated with finisher photos and a race medal. (Food in the Finish Line Corral is reserved for registered participants.)
